If you’re like the majority of people, you undoubtedly capture many screenshots on your phone for a variety of reasons. Perhaps you want to reveal something to your pals, or you simply want to keep something for later. Regardless, taking screenshots is a critical capability that all Android phones, including the Galaxy A12, have.
If you’ve recently bought a brand new Samsung Galaxy A12, you may be wondering how to take a screenshot. The methods for getting screenshots on most Samsung phones are the same or comparable. This article may be familiar to you if you have previously used a Galaxy device. If not, learn how to take a screenshot now.
How to Capture a Screenshot on a Samsung Galaxy A12
1. Screenshot of the Galaxy A12 – Hardware Keys
The first technique for taking a screenshot on your Galaxy A12 is to use the physical keypad on the phone’s side. This is the most common traditional way.
Grab your phone and simultaneously tap the power and volume down buttons. Down the keys hold down until the screen flashes white. This means that a screenshot was taken. A little menu bar will appear at the bottom of the screen after going white. There will be three buttons on the menu. The first button allows you to crop and alter the image. The second button activates Scroll Capture, and the third button shares the photo on social media.
2. Screenshot of the Galaxy A12 – Palm Swipe to Capture
If the first approach does not work for you due to damaged buttons or another issue, you can take a screenshot on your Galaxy A12 by using the “Palm Swipe to Capture” feature. This is Samsung’s method, and it does not necessitate the use of any hardware buttons.
Go to Settings -> Advanced Features -> Motions and Gestures to enable Palm Swipe. There will be a Palm swipe to capture option. It is turned off by default. To enable it, tap on it. Take a screenshot by swiping your hand across the screen. When the task is completed, the phone will vibrate to signal that it has been completed.
3. Screenshot of the Galaxy A12 – Assistant Menu
If you prefer something more straightforward to deal with, consider Assistant Menu. If all of the hardware keys on your Galaxy A12 are broken, and nothing else works, this is your last option.
Navigate Settings > Accessibility > Interaction and agility to enable the Assistant Menu and select the Assistant menu. There will be a little circle appearing. Tap on the circle to begin. Some options will be displayed—select Screenshots. The screen will flash white that a screenshot was taken.
These are some methods for taking screenshots on the Samsung Galaxy A12. It’s thoughtful of Samsung to add a few software features for taking screenshots when the hardware buttons are broken. Do you have any alternative methods for capturing a screen? Please leave a comment below.
